Opening Hours

The best thing about shopping online is that we are open 24 hours, 7 days a week!

We are pretty passionate about what we do, so there is always a chance you'll find us on the other end of the email way past bedtime or sometime over the weekend. However, because we have six needy children between us and hubbies who are usually just as needy we can't quite guarantee that, so here's the official line: business hours are 9am to 5pm AEST Monday to Friday (and excluding Queensland public holidays).

Most orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders requiring urgent/express delivery will be processed on the same day if received by noon AEST.

We will notify you via email within 24 hours (business days only) if we are unable to process your order for any reason.

Order Processing & Payment

Details, details! offer a number of ways to order little things for your big occasion.

Online: Shop online 24/7! We offer a fully automated system for ordering online with a secure, user-friendly shopping cart.

Email: We accept orders via email. Simply email order@detailsdetails.com.au, let us know what you would like and how you would like to pay. We will confirm your order within 24 hours (business days only).

Fax/Mail: Orders can be faxed or mailed. Print out this order form, and include your payment details. We accept credit card or direct deposit. Once completed, you can send it to us via fax or by post.

We aim to pack and dispatch all orders within 2 business days of order receipt and approved payment.

Details, details! accepts the following forms of payment:

  • Credit Card - We welcome payment by Visa or Mastercard. Details, details! regrets that we are unable to process American Express or Diners Club at this time.
  • Direct Deposit - Simply choose this option when checking out and our bank details will be displayed to facilitate payment. Please quote your order number in the Reference field. Orders will be dispatched once payment has been received.

We take every care to provide you with as much detail on our products to give you the utmost confidence in purchasing online. If you want to know more, you are welcome to contact us and we can help you with the touchy-feely stuff.

Stock Availability

Item availability is subject to change - you never can predict a rush on baby shower invites or chocolate grosgrain. When an item is no longer available, however, we make every effort to remove that item from our website in a timely manner.

If for some reason an item ordered is unavailable, you will be contacted via email within 24 hours (business days only). You will have the option to cancel your order, substitute Details, details! merchandise to equivalent value, or back-order your item.

If an item is listed as out of stock, it is probably not too far away from being available again. Please contact us for timeframes for stock arrival.

Pricing

All prices for products and shipping are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST (10%).

Colours & samples

We particularly understand how important it is to colour match exactly the right shade of paper, packaging or ribbon for your soiree.

While every effort has been made to accurately display the colours shown on our website, colours vary to an extent due to the monitor they are viewed on. We cannot guarantee that your monitor will display the colour accurately or as intended.

So that your vision does not get lost in translation while shopping online, we offer a sample service for most of our products. Contact us at info@detailsdetails.com.au with your requirements and we will work with you to make sure you get exactly what you need.

Party Kits

Coordinating and styling comes easy to us and we would love you to take all the credit with your guests for pulling off a party with Wow! As a result you'll find many of our products arranged into perfect little kits of party pizzazz - we've coordinated the invites with the thank yous, selected the perfect lolly bags or favour boxes, matched the tableware, topped it off with a length of gorgeous ribbon and usually thrown in a few other party must-haves.

The contents of each kit are clearly outlined under the product information. Should there be a need for us to replace any item in a party kit with an alternative, due to stock availability, you will be notified immediately upon order and given the option to choose an alternative kit or cancel your order if not satisfied.

While our flexibility is somewhat limited due to stock availability, if you would like to exchange any component of our party kits for something else you have spotted while browsing, please contact us in advance of ordering to discuss the possibilities. We do however reserve the right to decline altering the contents of our party kits and also to review the pricing of the kit if an alteration is approved by us.

Fully-assembled favours

If you are the creative type, we know you will thrive on choosing elements from across the Details, details! store which will be opened with the thrill and anticipation of being able to cut, paste, stamp, fill and tie it all together yourself. If on the other hand you could think of nothing more terrifying, but are nonetheless committed to celebrating in style, we've got that covered for you. Just check out our range of fully-assembled favours.

Product notes for each will confirm exactly what you can expect to receive, but as the name suggests this range comes fully assembled including specified trims and tags and filled with your chosen sweets. If timing allows in the planning of your event, we will happily oblige with a sample of the fully-assembled favour which will be charged at the individual retail cost + delivery.

To ensure that confectionery is delivered at the premium quality you would expect, fully-assembled favours cannot be delivered any earlier than one week prior to the event date. As such you will be required to specify your event date when ordering.

At this stage, chocolate can only be selected as a filling for fully-assembled favours for customers living in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast. We will work with you to assemble and hand deliver these as close as possible to the event date to ensure quality is not compromised. Please consider the risks (for us and your guests!) when ordering chocolate during Queensland's warmer weather.

Custom orders and assembly service

If you spot a gorgeous detail on our site which is not packaged as part of our fully-assembled range, and you would like to brief us on your theme or thoughts and then get us to do the assembly work - we say 'no trouble. Please call or email with further information - we will gladly offer our advice and let you know what will be possible.

Special orders

Many of our products are available in alternative colours or sizes but not always held in stock. In most cases, our product notes provide details of alternative colour and size options available for order. We are seasoned treasure hunters so if you are looking for something out of the ordinary for your contemporary celebration we are always up to the challenge of sourcing and ordering it for you.

Refunds and exchanges

We take great pride in the quality of our details and we think you're going to love what you've ordered. However, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return the item(s) within 30 days of the purchase date for a full refund of the sale amount. All shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

We encourage you to contact us via email (info@detailsdetails.com.au) or call 0433 328 240 to arrange an exchange or refund. This will help us speed the process of making you happy.

Goods will need to be returned in their original condition and proof of purchase will be required. You will be responsible for return shipping and the refund or exchange will be processed when the goods are safely returned to us. We regret we will be unable to accept the return of seasonal items after the season has ended or sale items that are no longer stocked.

We really do believe it's all in the detail, and we package your purchases with much love and care. In the rare event that there is a mix up with your order, or something arrives in less than perfect condition please just let us know and we will make it right as quickly as possible and of course, at our expense.

Delivery information

When there's a party in the making we know you want instant shopping gratification!. Details, details! uses Australia Post or Fastway Couriers to deliver your purchases across Australia as quickly as possible, however please allow up to 5 business days after order has been finalised and dispatched.

Standard parcels (up to 3kg in weight) are charged at a flat rate of $7.50.

Please let us know if you require the goods urgently and we will make the most suitable delivery arrangements to meet your deadlines and advise relevant costs.

Oversized or overweight parcels may incur additional delivery costs - this likelihood is generally noted in the product description. In this event, a quote on shipping will be provided via email for your approval before the order is finalised.

International orders and shipping

We welcome overseas orders. Shipping charges shown apply to Australia only, so additional charges will apply for international shipments. If you place an order online, we will contact you to advise shipping costs if you live outside Australia. Alternatively, you can contact us at info@detailsdetails.com.au and we can give you an idea of the cost to send all of your must-have items!

Due to customs restrictions please note confectionery cannot be shipped internationally.
